Cookie Policy
Analytics cookies load only with your consent; advertising preferences are managed through Google's own consent screen.

1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser. It can keep a site working,
remember a preference, or count visits. Related technologies — localStorage in particular — behave similarly and are covered here too.
2. What this site uses
| Type | Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary (local storage, not a cookie) | AREM Labs | arem-consent stores your cookie choice; langBarDismissed
remembers that you closed the language banner. Neither is sent to a server.
|
| Usage counter (no cookies) | AREM Labs (Umami, self-hosted) | Page views and in-tool action counts (choosing a file, downloading, copying). Uses no cookies or local storage, stores no IP address and never sends file contents, so no consent is needed. |
| Analytics | Google Analytics 4 |
Aggregate statistics such as visit counts and which tool pages are used
(_ga, _ga_*).
|
| Advertising | Google AdSense |
Ad delivery, frequency capping and measurement (for example __gads, IDE).
|
Analytics cookies load only after you press “Accept” on the cookie bar. Advertising is served by Google AdSense; visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown Google's consent screen, and personalised advertising cookies are used only if consent is given there. Elsewhere, advertising preferences can be managed at Google Ad Settings .
3. Your files have nothing to do with cookies
Files you open in a tool are never linked to a cookie or an identifier. They are not uploaded, so they fall outside analytics entirely — no file name, size or type is measured or reported.
4. Withdrawing consent
Clearing this site's data (cookies and local storage) in your browser resets your choice, and the cookie bar appears again on your next visit. You can also block all cookies in your browser settings; the tools themselves will keep working, since none of them depend on cookies.
